About Deborah
Hello! My name is Deborah Goschy, the owner and operator of DeborahGraphix, a one-woman graphic design agency specializing in book and publication design, book cover design, and illustration.
I am a Minnesota native. I grew up in Andover, Minnesota, part of the Twin Cities Metro Area where oaks are prevalent. My family lived in a wooded area that I loved. That's why I have oak leaves in my logo. I attended the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor's in Mass Communications in 1991.
In 2017, I decided it was time to go in a new direction and enrolled at South Central College, where I took Graphic Communications classes. I graduated at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic in May 2020, with an AAS degree. I also graduated with "Highest Honors" because I got high scores on all my academic work. Graphic Design is a skill area where I excel and using graphics to help people and businesses communicate is my passion.
