An Infographic on the Life Cycle of the Oak Tree
When it comes to creating an infographic, you have to know your material. This infographic concerns the life cycle of an oak tree. Having grown up in an area where oaks are plentiful, I am familiar with this species of tree and its height, width, leaves, bark, and longevity. I felt that the phrase "life cycle" was overused, so I went another route, titling my infographic "The Life of an Oak Tree" with the subheading, "The end is just the beginning." The ellipse I added over the design helps to unify the various elements on the page as well as reinforce the cyclical nature of an oak tree's development.
